In this role, you will be responsible for supporting operations leaders in employee and labor relations activities within a defined client assignment. Additionally, you will be engaged in and/or lead collective bargaining, impact bargaining, grievance and arbitration adjudication and contract interpretation. You will also process complaints from unionized and non-unionized employees, which includes conducting investigations into complex EEO and other HR related allegations. To be successful in this role, it is necessary to function well independently and in a team environment and it is critical to develop and maintain positive relationships with operations and our labor partners.

Qualifications Include:

  • A bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, social/behavioral science, education, public administration, liberal arts, or a related field
  • At least five years of experience in HR consulting, including at least three years in employee and/or labor relations
  • Additional equivalent work experience in a directly related field may be substituted for the degree requirement

Preferred Qualifications Include:

  • JD or Legal background
  • Human Resources Professional Certification (SHRM-CP or PHR) or other accredited HR certification
  • Senior Human Resources Professional Certification (SHRM-SCP or SPHR)
  • One year of experience consulting senior leaders or executives
  • Two years of experience in a leadership role with or without direct reports
  • Four years of experience conducting EEO and/or other HR investigations
