Baseball Game (Tigers V.S. Rangers), first pitch 1:10 pm. Tickets in the LERA block are $35 and our seating is in section 119, rows 25-29. Come network with other LERA members and enjoy Comerica Park and the Detroit Tigers.

The MotorCity Hotel provides a complimentary shuttle service to anyone staying at the hotel to and from Comerica Park. If you register for this event and wish to take advantage of this transportation you will need to get a wristband from the hotel front desk. Reception and Tour of the Ford Rouge Assembly Plant, 6-10 pm - Sponsored by the University of Illinois Climate Jobs Institute

You won't want to miss this event! This reception, dinner, drinks, 2 shows, plant tour, and networking event will include transportation and:

• A short video in the Legacy Theater where you will learn about Henry Ford’s vision for the Rouge and how it came to life
• A 4-D experience in the Manufacturing Innovation Theater where you’ll see the manufacturing process up close
• Networking time in the Observation Deck where you will get a bird’s-eye view of Ford’s famous “Living Roof” the largest living roof in the world (guides stationed)
• Time in the Legacy Gallery and see some of the most famous Ford vehicles made at the Rouge
• And of course, 1.5 hours to observe the Assembly Place Walking Tour on an elevated walkway for a unique view of the plant’s final assembly line (guides stationed)

 Tickets are $10 if you are a registered attendee of the LERA 75th Annual Meeting.

LERA General Membership Meeting and Awards Ceremony followed by LERA Annual Reception (5:15 - 8:30 pm)

5:15 - 6:45 pm in the MotorCity Casino and Hotel in Salon A. Come hear the committee reports for the Labor and Employment Relations Association and have a front seat as the various LERA awards are presented! Then mingle and network at the LERA Annual Universities Reception, 7 - 8:30 pm in Amnesia. No tickets necessary, just put it on your calendar!

 Motown Tour, 6 - 8 pm - in shifts every 20 minutes

This is an interactive VIP tour, one of their personable guides will share interesting history, fascinating anecdotes and captivating stories that all took place within the space you stand. History was truly made within these walls. You’ll experience curated exhibits, the actual apartment Berry Gordy lived in with his family during the label’s earliest days, the retro-style offices of Hitsville U.S.A. and, of course, Studio A—the legendary recording studio where Motown artists recorded some of the greatest songs of all time from 1959 to 1972.

Transportation to the museum and dinner from a local food truck is provided!
